<h1>The RISC OS <abbr>GUI</abbr></h1>

<p>
	This is a test of a new “link” content-type on my site, it works a lot like
	<a href="http://daringfireball.net" rel="external">John Gruber</a>’s linked-list. I’ll link to sites of
	interest, just click the title (<q>℅</q> stands for
	“<a href="http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/care_of" rel="external">Care Of</a>”).
</p><p>
	The <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RISC_OS" rel="external">RISC OS</a> <abbr>GUI</abbr> is one of my
	favourites. For a 1992 OS with a distinctly British flavour it had many innovative features, many which no other OS
	had at the time and still some that no OS has even today.

	The linked site details many of the fascinating and weird quirks of the RISC OS UI.
